An artist with an inquisitive nature, I make things using the familiar and over-looked.

Throughout my work I am interested in how time and emotion can be symbolised by objects. I enjoy the feeling that life can often seem quite surreal, and a playful approach to materials characterises many of my projects.

A primary focus for me is clay. Extensive travels and a background in archaeology have made me aware of the integral role it plays in life. However clay does not exist in isolation, and as such my pieces often combine mixed media.
